We had an amazing date night at the Ugly Dumpling, an upscale but cozy dim sum spot at Willow Lawn that keeps us coming back for their authentic, affordable, and always satisfying food. Our favorite orders are the soup dumplings, bbq bao buns, and the string beans app that are cooked perfectly crisp and savory. Our server Lily recommended the lychee martini, which was delicious! Like their name suggests, the steaming baskets of handmade dumplings are the main event—the perfect family style meal to share with all your favorite people!

Delicious soup dumplings. I had the variety set and to my pleasant surprise every single one was delicious. My waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable. The steamed pork boa was good, but the star of the show was the soup dumplings. Brown sugar boba was delicious too. I will be coming back for those soup dumplings.

I have ordered from here several times and enjoyed it every time I have enjoyed it. Came into the store tonight (4/16/26) with friends and we had an amazing spread. Everything was so flavorful. The braised beef noodle bowl was absolutely a killer. The flavors were on point, the meat more tender than anything I'd had even at the best steak house, beautifully aromatic. The staff even points out where the restrooms are when you mention its your first time so you can find it easily if needed. I will definitely come back again and again.

Ann was the perfect waitress she attended to us in every aspect we never had to wait for anything. She was very good at explaining the menu and all of the little details and extras. She was truly appreciated! The food was absolutely amazing delicious and served hot! No waiting! We will be back!

Went here with a large handful of friends. Great accomodation for a large group and the atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing. The soup dumplings were delicious- especially the Pork & Truffle flavor. The vegetable stir fry noodles were pretty good, needed more flavor though. My favorite was the BBQ Bao Bun that my friend let me try. So good!! Will have to order more of those when I go next time. Curious about the Spicy Vegan Wontons too. They look fun.
